JOB SUMMARY:
This position must ensure the continuous operation of the headquarters facilities and services described below while maintaining a high level of customer service and a cost efficient operation. The first priority of this position is to focus on the economics available and necessary to the operation while providing the staff with the tools for accomplishing day-to-day activities (i.e. HVAC, electricity, janitorial, workstations, supplies, copy services, vending, appraisals, shipping & receiving, etc) .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES HI-LIGHT:
Considerable experience with build-to-suits, expansions, and existing space renovations – managing the project from start to completion
Ongoing operation and maintenance of corporate facilities
Experience with the outsourcing environment. A strong understanding and by-in to the benefits of outsourcing and the partnering relationship
Managing people
Budget preparation and tracking
SCOPE:
Contributes through guiding others at the enterprise level. May supervise 2 to 10 employees & out-sourced contractors. Full business partner authority.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field · 5-10 years experience in facilities management including construction and space management. · Proven record with analysis and implementation of cost savings initiatives. Most have experience with identifying critical success factors, which will contribute to the financial and strategic goals of the company. · Extensive experience with vendor negotiations and managing vendor relationships. · Must be familiar with office equipment including facsimiles, copiers, and mail processing equipment. · Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. · Extensive experience with the development and management of facilities budgets. · Most have experience recruiting, motivating and managing in-house and outsourced staff. · Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability through previous experience to provide excellent customer service.
