John Deere Waterloo Works is seeking a Business Process Improvement Facilitator to manage, facilitate and implement process improvement projects within a single process or a limited number of processes which are moderately complex and not limited in scope, depth, problem solving and degree of skill required. In this position, you will:
Work with existing project teams in various John Deere facilities in the Waterloo area to achieve significant improvements in Order Fulfillment metrics. These include, for example, Shareholder Value Added, Quality Process Improvement, Warranty Reduction, Indirect Materials and Services cost reduction, and other initiatives as determined by the Waterloo Works General Manager's Staff and Waterloo Works Councils.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a Business/Management/Engineering/Technology/Science/Math/Accounting discipline or equivalent experience.
Master degree in an Engineering or Business discipline preferred.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 yrs experience utilizing strong analytical skills including statistical methods, financial analysis or engineering modeling and analysis.
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Project management experience.
Desired Skills and Experience
Training in and experience using Six Sigma principles and practices (i.e. documentation, project charters, process measures, etc.).
Certified Green Belt.
Broad experience in manufacturing, engineering, customer relationships, marketing, sales and/or supply management.
Facilitation skills.
