Position Description
Manages employees and first-level managers that perform fact finding and analyses of subcontractor proposals; conduct financial, operational and proposal audits of subcontractor information; and develop and estimate costs in support of pricing activities. Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

Other Job related information
Supports multiple process actions teams (PATs) across the IDS sites including: SMFO, Estimating and Pricing, and Business Operations. Ensures that SMFO is compliance with TINA, IPM, MMAS, and BESM requirements. Supports IPT and Supplier Management needs by providing supplier cost analysis, material estimating, and material cost analysis. Delivers process and tools to ensure that appropriate information is available to monitor program material cost.
