Want to be involved in the next huge business for Xbox? Want to create it? Join a new product team, part of the Xbox LIVE group that's responsible for creating a completely new way for mainstream audiences to consume game content and the Xbox LIVE service.
We're building the games and the server support for all of this. We're a small, entrepreneurial team working together to get things done very quickly in an agile environment. If you want to work in a space where you'll get all the responsibility you can swallow, and run as fast as you can, this team is for you.
We're looking for a passionate game developer to work on a small team, creating these new game experiences. Job responsibilities include working on all parts of the game engine which will support multiple games, and interfacing with the server team that is providing new back-end services to create these new and compelling experience in a scalable fashion.
Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of game development experience, strong design skills and C++ coding skills, and at least one shipped title. Experience developing for Xbox 360, Xbox LIVE, XUI, and experience with web services and client-server architectures are big plusses. Past experience in an agile development environment and with script-based engines are helpful. Good communication skills, independent drive, customer focus, ability to ramp up quickly on new technology, and driving for results are all expected.
