ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The candidate will work within a small hardware design group in the area of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Signal Integrity and Power Integrity. The candidate will use Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Time Domain Reflectometry, and other sophisticated equipment for experimental investigations, as well as specific software for data analysis and modeling. The work will include topics on shielding, chip level EMC design and board level EMC design.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Building specific geometries in CAD tools
Configuring equipment for test and root cause analysis
Write reports, organize data
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Good background in circuits
Good background in electromagnetic fields
Good experimental/lab skills
Attention to detail, well organized and good time management
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
Master or PhD candidates in EE
Strong debugging skills
Good experimental/lab skills
Attention to detail, well organized and good time management
Good written/verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of web technology and tools
Basic knowledge of CAD and numerical tools
