Education and/or Special Training:
BS/BA in Accounting required; advanced degree in tax or law strongly recommended; background in economics, familiarity with CrossBorder Solutions and Hyperion Software and French and/or German language skills a plus.
Job Description This position will report to and support the Director of Tax, International and will work closely with cross functional teams globally.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be working on broad strategic and operational U.S. outbound planning projects.
Assist in / responsible for due diligence and consulting related to business realignments, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and repatriation/cash management planning.
Provide support in areas of worldwide tax compliance, audits and accounting for income taxes.
Qualifications/Work Experience:
Candidate should possess at least 6 years of total tax experience.
Candidate should also have a good working knowledge and experience in operational and transactional international tax practice area (e.g. Subpart F, thin capitalization issues, acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations etc.)
Candidate must be an imaginative and independent thinker who is systems oriented and is comfortable working with cross functional teams comprised of high-level finance, operations, R&D and marketing personnel.
Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication, and strong accounting skills.
