Position Description
Contracts Administrator for Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program working on contracts and pricing projects as assigned by the Contracts Manager. Performs basic, routine and special assignment duties associated with leading the preparation and negotiation and documentation of change proposals of all complexities including strategy development, preparation of the contracts proposal packages, fact-finding and negotiations and administration of the resulting contract changes. Serves as principle Integrated Product Team (IPT) point of contact for proposal fact finding and negotiations with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer. Responsible for all aspects of proposal compliance with RFP requirements including consistency with program contract terms, conditions, and statement of work. Works closely with program management to identify, communicate, define, negotiate and implement changes to the contractual baseline, including constructive changes. Coordinates transmittal of contract deliverables, data requirements, and correspondence. Develops reports, conducts appropriate training with lesser experience staff, and gives presentations. Supports audits, identifies changes and solutions to problems, and presents recommendations to management.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree and 10 to 14 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 8 to 12 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Certification as an NCMA CACM or CPCM or other professional certification in government contract management and/or and advanced degree in business related area would be a plus.
