As a member of the store leadership team, the Assistant Manager coaches and trains store personnel to achieve sales goals, as well as to ensure profitability through correct use of store systems/processes. Manages overall store when fulfilling the roles of manager on duty or sales leader; overseeing store operations including customer service and administration; planning and managing merchandising; replenishment; product inventory; and loss prevention activities; ensuring friendly, fast and accurate processing of all Best Buy customer transactions; is responsible for creating a healthy and positive work environment which drives employee engagement and retention. Requirements are 3-5 years Retail Supervisory/Management experience. Responsible for 30-80 people and directly responsible and held accountable for annual revenue; operating budget, or profit and loss dollars of $1-21 million + 2 years sales related experience.
