As our Director of Global Strategic Planning, you'll manage and direct special projects, working directly with senior Nike, Inc. leadership in areas such as business development, capability development, and merger and acquisition strategy. You'll develop the long-term strategic direction of Nike, Inc., with a focus on driving growth and shareholder value creation. You'll also ensure that the 3-year planning process results in the prioritization and allocation of resources against the biggest issues and opportunities facing the company. You'll drive functional excellence in global strategic planning, while providing executive support, including Board of Directors and other stakeholder communications. In addition, you’ll recruit and develop “Best Athletes” in strategic planning with general management potential. Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree
2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
MBA is preferred
10 years' experience with increasing responsibility in strategic and business planning development
Experience in strategic planning, management consulting, investment banking, business development or public accounting
Superior writing, communication and presentation skills, including influencing at the executive level
Ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors
Ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analyses and financial models
Ability to coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams, and to provide project management support
2 years' staff management experience is strongly preferred
Experience coaching and developing direct staff members or project team members
