Job Title SAP Business Systems Specialist
External Job Description JOB SUMMARY:
The Hospira SAP Program is a rapidly expanding system foundation broadly supporting global operations for Finance, Treasury, Purchasing, Tax, Human Resources, Materials Management, Distribution, International Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Order Management. Near term expansion is planned for Manufacturing Operations and Quality systems. The position will work with end users to define requirements, convert them into functional specifications and will implement and support configurations and technical objects. Successful candidates must also be willing and able to support post-production maintenance functions.
For the position of Business Systems Specialist, Quality Management we are recruiting talented and innovative team members seeking to help influence and transform our organization using current SAP tools and methods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Team members will work with business clients and fellow team members to define system requirements and specifications within Hospira's global architectural and development standards.
You will design, test and implement configuration elements and technical objects as well as assist less experienced team members with these tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of overall post-graduate experience with at least 5 years of technical and business hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: SAP Quality Management configuration experience
* Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Relation Field is required.
* SAP Quality Management configuration experience is required
* Experience with other SAP modules used in manufacturing environments such as PP, WM and MM is required.
* Experience with or certification in six sigma is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training and defining support procedures.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
* Ability to coordinate and schedule work for a team to meet scheduled implementation dates.
* Ensures the team produces documentation deliverables required for a validated system.
* Strong customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
* Effective verbal and written communications skills.
* Strong team work skills with ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
* Effective documentation skills.
* Experience with communications to IT and Business staff and their management who are working under tight deadlines and considerable pressure.
* Broad knowledge and expertise in all phases of SAP implementations.
* Demonstrated skills in creative thinking, teamwork, problem solving, decision-making, and time management.
* Previous experience within multiple large scale software or product development projects, working with internal and external partners.
* Strong analytical skills in identifying and solving technical problems.
* Ability to follow the defined work process and to produce documentation deliverables as required for a validated system. Ability to lead others in the documentation process.
