The Xbox US subsidiary has a great opportunity for a person who wants to be on the frontlines working with 3rd Party Publishers to drive console and Xbox LIVE sales in the US. Xbox 360 is the market leader in the next generation of consoles with more than 10MM consoles in the market and is positioned to extend its lead over the competition.

Role:
The US 3rd Party Marketing team leverages 3rd Party franchises to drive sell-thru of Microsoft products at retail. As a US 3rd Party Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating go-to-market plans around 3rd Party releases that drive sell-thru of Xbox 360 consoles, Xbox 360 and Games for Windows software, Xbox LIVE subscriptions, Premium Downloadable Content and Xbox LIVE Arcade games.

This position requires extensive cross-group collaboration and partnership with media, PR, online marketing, promotions, events, channel, LIVE, and Zune teams. This position will report to the 3rd Party Marketing Group Manager in the US.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Managers to build strong relationships with 3rd Party Publishers.
- Develop go-to-market plans that leverage 3rd Party content to drive sell-thru of Microsoft products and services in the US.
- Act as primary marketing contact between Xbox 360 and Games for Windows platform marketing teams and US 3rd Party Publishers (approximately 7 publishers).
- Integrate Xbox 360 and Games for Windows platform into 3rd Party marketing activities, deepening our brand presence and affiliation with key franchises.
- Integrate 3rd Party titles into Xbox 360 and Games for Windows platform marketing activities to round out our portfolio in the eyes of consumers.
- Analyze market data to determine attach and market share goals to use as ROI benchmarks.
- Manage go-to-market budget and drive support for budget allocation through compelling market analysis and creative go-to-market plans.
- Use market and competitive data to make recommendations on what content to support and marketing programs to pursue.
- Serve as an internal advocate and expert on 3rd Party content for the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows platform marketing teams.
- Provide strategic portfolio prioritization to the US Xbox 360 and Games for Windows platform marketing teams.
- Serve as Xbox 360 and LIVE US consumer expert for 3rd Party Publishers.

Requirements:
- Five years experience in product management or marketing; experience at both a 1st Party and 3rd Party Publisher is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the digital entertainment industry, preferably with direct experience in the video game industry.
- College degree required. MBA a plus.
