Set vision and strategy for Nuclear Manufacturing Indirect Materials.
Develop a process for indirect material management including on-hand accuracies, cycle counting, usage, min/max and etc. driving reduction in material obsolescence and stock-out conditions.
Create and implement a cost/failure analysis tool for critical spare and min/max buys.
Establish rigor and elevate importance of indirect buys for Wilmington Field Service Center and Vallecitos Nuclear Test Center.
Own the Wilmington Warehouse, including material receipts, storage and distribution.
Deploy strategic process improvements minimizing cost and increasing productivity including overall GEH buy leverage.
Continuously evaluate business and customer needs partnering with the plant leaders.
Collaborate with the team for a successful implementation of Nuclear Manufacturing Simplification.
Drive process rigor including operating procedures, financials, metrics and training to measure process health.
Utilize Lean Six Sigma and CAP for successful process improvements and stability.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing shop operations, production planning, or sourcing disciplines.
Desired

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Six Sigma/Lean Certification (GE Employees Only)
Knowledge of GEH Manufacturing processes is preferred
Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
