The MGS Web Team group has an opening for an experienced developer to help drive the technological direction and deployment of game and studio sites like http://gearsofwar.com and http://forzamotorsport.net/. The MGS Web Team is seeking, highly-motivated individuals to join a dynamic and strong Development organization. The team designs and builds applications, tools, frameworks, services and community game sites for MGS titles. We're looking for a passionate Software Developer with experience working in a high traffic production environment. Developers on our team are responsible for designing, building, implementing, and shipping community and game driven web sites and bridge the game console to the web. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of software development. Candidates will be working with some of the premier game studios in MGS. If gaming and development are you passion then this position may be for you.
Qualifications Recommended:
Proven track record of delivering websites and associated components
Must be security minded in development practices
4-5 years of experience in software development through all phases
3-4 years experience in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET) required
2-3 years of experience in HTML required
2-3 years experience with .net web services required
2-3 year experience with XML document object model and XSL required
1-2 year experience with CSS required
2-3 years experience in SQL design and development is required
Experience working with Passport a BIG plus
Experience in Flash is plus
Strong communication skills are required and experience in graphics, art design and layout are highly desirable.
BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical field is required
