Job Title Corporate Financial Consolidations Supervisor
External Job Description Job Summary:
The Global Financial Consolidations Supervisor position will liaise with Global and Local Controllership. Responsibilities will include:
?Preparation of the consolidated balance sheet and income statement utilizing Hospira's Hyperion Financial Management systems. This process includes downloading legacy systems, data templates, and SAP general ledger system results as well as supplemental data into Hospira's consolidation systems, monitoring corporate deadlines of results submissions, performing corporate consolidation elimination tasks, running validation tasks, and coordinating post close adjustments.
?Preparation and coordination of detailed comparative financial statements published on a monthly basis for senior Finance management, which serve as a reference tool in answering financial questions from senior management, analysts and shareholders.
?Maintain the integrity of the company's Corporate chart of accounts (COA) and cost center structure including the development and communication of process and procedural documentation for SAP FI/CO master data
?Assist management on the global close process, corporate reporting of monthly results and budgetary data, inter-company transactions with off-site locations, etc. by creating a uniform process and procedure to facility timely and accurate corporate reporting in these areas
?Supervise one finance analysts responsible for sales and margin analysis; along with metadata additions in SAP/HFM.
?Assist the HFM systems group in defining, creating, and distributing uniform financial information using the existing system capabilities via delivery methods which including SAP standard and programmed ABAP reports, Hyperion retrieve, HFM reporting and hard copy reports
?Assist other internal departments including commercial finance, external reporting, financial Planning, international reporting, corporate accounting, and subsidiaries in compliance with internal reporting requirements and adherence to internal reporting polices and procedures.
?Provide assistance to internal and external auditors during the quarterly review and annual audit processes.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred
4 to 7 years professional experience with an emphasis on general ledger accounting and financial reporting preferred. Experience with multi-level consolidations (Hyperion applications (e.g. Enterprise, HFM, Essbase), strong SAP R3 (FI/CO modules) skills, and preparation of financial statements
Good oral and written communications; possess good organizational skills, a high level of self-integrity, ingenuity and initiative (self-starter). The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines.
Ability to delegate and work effectively with others. Must be able to recognize problems and offer solutions. Possess high level of analytical skills with ability to interpret results. Ability to determine priorities and work on several projects simultaneously. Develop more efficient ways of working with the information and compiling reports and propose process improvements.
