We are providing an exciting career in our Manufacturing Operations Division. You will be working on state of the art audio / video technology with design engineering groups to transform design concepts into manufactured consumer electronic products.
Here is what you get to do:
Develop, implement and maintain methods of operational sequence processes and quality associated with the manufacture of parts, components, sub assemblies and final assemblies
Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products
Carry out Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design For Test (DFT) analysis and provide feedback to design engineering
Reduce costs and improve efficiency through the implementation of lean manufacturing methods
Work with sub-contract manufacturer during the implementation of new processes and methods to ensure product quality
This is what you'll need to be successful:
BS degree in Industrial, Systems, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Degree required)
5 to 10 years experience in electronic manufacturing/test environment
Experience with RF products, configurable systems, and outsourced manufacturing are a plus
Background in electronics and mechanical manufacturing methods such as production processes, assembly processes, test systems, control software, and electronics processes. (PCBA, Sub-Assemblies & System integration)
Thorough knowledge of SMT & Wave process
Ability to develop assembly work instructions for new and existing products, including internal configuration flow, Build of Materials structure and pack-out level requirements
Ability to influence, lead others and promote necessary changes
Knowledge of quality methods associated with design of experiments, gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility, process capability, and statistical process control
Ability to interface and work with suppliers and purchasing to provide consistent product quality
Available to travel Nationally & Internationally (25% Travel)
