Job Title Production Specialist/Autoclave
External Job Description May operate any of several autoclaves to sterlize commodities, clean requirement, machine components, tools and product. Must read and interpret autoclave flow charts and use independent judgement, adjust/end autoclave cycles as well as use manual overrides. Incumbent will also load, unload, monitor, make minor repairs and use a variety of material handling assisting in the operating of assigned autoclaves. Will also assist in material handling in the operation of assigned autoclave.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification Ability to function in a highly structured role requiring independent judgment. May work as part of a self-directed team requiring the ability to work well with others. Ability to plan and organize work under time pressures. Must be able to stand up to 12 hours and/or sit for 6 hours and to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be flexible to work OT including week-ends
