Job Title Essbase Administrator
External Job Description The Hyperion Essbase Administrator will be responsible for the delivery of solution-oriented consulting and day to day support to Corporate Finance.
The ideal candidate will be required to do the following:
1) Develop business focused technical solutions using Essbase and related front-end reporting tools.
2) Determine customer requirements, project scope and assist in the creation of estimates of efforts.
3) Develop and implement application changes for internal customers based on identified requirements.
4) Support user training, documentation and rollout of new projects.
This position will be responsible for leading a product profitability reporting effort using the existing essbase application. As part of this project, a legacy application in Holos will be retired and brought into the new global solution. Development will be necessary to streamline the application and interface products via a hierarchical structure from SAP. Additional reporting will be built out to compliment the existing HFM application in the areas of Intercompany profit elimination and functional cost reporting. Future projects include supporting the Financial Systems Manager with a Planning/Forecasting implementation scheduled in 2009.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Accounting/Finance is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Hyperion Certified on Essbase is a plus. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems required.
A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in an Accounting and/or Finance role.
Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation and Training.
