John Deere Corporate is seeking a Business Analyst to lead global implementation of enterprise level tools and technology to enable the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) within Supply Management, including the John Deere Supply Network (JDSN) Fulfill, e-Invoice, and WebEDI web applications. In this position, you will:
Work closely with a broad group of stakeholders including Supply Management leadership, enterprise level business process owners, Divisional OFP practitioners, and suppliers to address on-going business needs.
Serve as a key team member, or team lead, on project teams focused on enablement and continuous improvement of Order Fulfillment-related processes.
Use process knowledge and analysis skills in support of the implementation and integration of new and improved business processes.
Lead the implementation of new systems and capabilities required to enable the Order Fulfillment process within Supply Management. Activities include gathering business requirements, technical design, supporting development efforts, conducting testing, developing the required documentation, and providing on-going support.
Create project plans, work estimates, and work plans required to monitor defined project activities.
Coordinate activities of team including third-party developers.
Follow the Supply Management e-Business group architecture, development, and documentation practices.
Education
Four year degree in an Information Technology discipline or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience applying IT skills required to provide production support of business applications.
Project Management skills, including the ability to estimate work, coordinate team activities, plan system-oriented activities.
Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
Interpersonal skills required to work within both a team environment and a team structure
Ability to assume responsibility, work in a self-directed manner and be highly responsive to user support issues.
Ability to analyze business problems, define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
Business process knowledge of the Order Fulfillment process.
