This team is responsible for mobile phone platform development , beta program tools, and internal beta programs for all mobile devices that get released out of the Microsoft MCPG (Mobile Communications Product Group) division. The MESE team is looking for a Lead SDET (Software Design Engineer in Test) dedicated to shipping high-quality, secure, and totally awesome mobile devices to our customers. If you love a fast paced, fun work environment then this is the place for you!
Responsibilities include:
- leading a team of SDETs through all stages of product development cycles
- hiring strong SDETs, growing and developing a healthy team,
- mentoring and fostering individual contributor career growth
- driving a team in designing, implementing, testing, and evangelizing mobile phone platforms, beta programs, and beta program tools to 1000+ Microsoft employees in the division
- collaborating with development, program management, operations, and partners/customers to strategize, define, and design solutions and services
- managing test schedules and resources.

- Product Development Lifecycle and shipping software

- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous releases
- Design and coding skills in C++/C#

Mobile experience is desired but not required. A BS/MS degree in a CS or related discipline is required.
