Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise.
*To define and implement accounting systems and procedures for GE and related affiliates and associated companies that provide adequate information for control of the business and meet all standards for financial reporting, tax reporting, and Corporate consolidation.
*Provide advice and counsel in areas of finance and accounting.
*Design, review, and modify accounting reports to ensure accurate communication of financial results to management/stakeholders.
*Recommend changes in accounting/reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
*Analyze the financial position of assigned entities and recommend adjustments in valuation when necessary.
*Ensure accurate statement of financial results.
*Provide effective leadership as assigned.
*Perform account reconciliations.

Qualifications
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
*At least 5 additional years of experience in a financial position.
Desired
*CPA or MBA is preferred.
*Demonstrated ability to analyze and present complex financial data.
*Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
*Strong oral and written communication skills.
*Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
*PC proficiency.
