Position : Account Representative - Telephone and Patient Contact

Description :

Under the supervision of the senior account representatives, and AR supervisor, provide functional support to the cashier unit, insurance billing departments (HPA and BAR), will all self-pay inquiries. Primary goals are the courteous and knowledgeable handling of all patient inquiries, and the accurate and efficient processing of receipts.

Qualified candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service and cashier experience is preferred. Telephone, good bookkeeping and accounting, analytical, organizational skills, accurate record keeping and very good interpersonal skills necessary. Must be flexible to changing working conditions.

Position does require prolonged periods of concentration working on a computer reviewing accounts and financial reports and the ability to sit and stay focused for extended periods of time. Assisting in lifting of storage boxes up to 40 lbs.
