Overview :
This newly created Sr. Manager position is responsible for numerous diverse tasks in the Corporate Accounting department including management of our SOX 404 compliance and coordination, management of the Stock Plans and Payroll Department; and overseeing development of the SAP system and enhancements related to the Finance and Accounting Department. Additionally, this position will be responsible for numerous special and on-going projects including integration planning for potential acquisitions, assisting with new product launches from a financial perspective and enhancement and on-going development of management reporting.
Responsibilities :
Work closely with Internal and External Audit teams and Finance management to ensure successful coordination and compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
Develop working knowledge of all key areas in Finance to be able to recommend process improvements and efficiencies.
Oversee and Manage all SAP projects and enhancements related to the Finance and Accounting department including management of the SAP Finance Systems Analyst
Lead and drive to completion enhanced management reporting tools, reports and analysis
Management of the Stock Plans and Payroll Department including compliance with all applicable Federal and Local requirements
Responsible for ensuring all aspects of SFAS 123R calculations for quarterly and annual financial statement preparations, disclosures and forecasting are completed timely and accurately
Provide assistance and management of various corporate endeavors including integration planning for potential acquisitions and assisting with new product launches
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA preferred.
Experience (2-4 years) with SAP FI/CO and/or HCM strongly preferred
Experience (8-10 years) in Big 4 public accounting firm or equivalent level of experience is strongly preferred.
Public company experience is strongly preferred.
