As a Senior Business Systems Analyst within Go To Market - IT, you'll act as the liaison between our business partners and our IT Engineering teams. You'll be responsible for facilitating the development of our web-based platforms for B2B eCommerce and our Brand marketing sites. You'll communicate the vision for the system by analyzing high-level designs and extracting requirements from business objectives, documenting those requirements and refining them into technical action items. You'll then conduct testing and quality control to ensure that documented business requirements are met by the system design. In addition, you'll consult with business clients on needed business processes to support enhanced functionality.
Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years' experience in IT or business
- 2 years' additional experience accepted in lieu of a degree
- 2 years' experience in the role of a Business Systems Analyst working with the business users and leading the requirements definition, design and documentation of system behavior
- Experience developing test plans, building test data and testing new or enhanced application functions
- Strong background in systems analysis and design
- Experience with system integration across multiple platforms
- Ability to quickly assimilate and communicate complex systems integration processes and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- 2 years' experience developing/supporting transaction-based websites in one or more of these areas: e-Commerce, customization, user-driven content, interactive or self-service sites is strongly preferred
- Background within the retail-business sector is preferred
- Experience developing in a multi-language/multi-currency environment is preferred
- Experience reading and writing SQL is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a non-structured environment with complex and competing objectives
