The Interactive Entertainment Business is continually investing in adding value to Xbox. We are looking for a seasoned SDET to help us deliver on time with the highest quality. In addition to strong technical skill, this person will be seen as a go to tester for solving the hard programming problems and engineering issues for his or her part of the part of the project.
Successful candidates must have:
- At least 3 years of professional experience as an SDET delivering quality products through several product cycles
- Strong C, C++, and debugging skills
- Strong security fundamentals - understanding of PKI, online activation, platform capabilities and weaknesses
- Experience with, as well as a demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on a new technical domain
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for technology and expanding the role of gaming
- Proven domain expertise in one of several possible areas including: Xbox 360 OS and non-gaming applications
- A desire to work with like-minded people that want to tackle the hard issues to deliver the right product and user experience
- DirectX experience and PC video or console game development experience is also a plus.
Areas of responsibility may include: game content protection, 3D graphics acceleration, OS driver development, hardware prototyping, device firmware development, and compilers.
