As an SDET you will play an important role integrating test and software automation to improve the quality and efficiency of our testing. You will build on your experience to develop creative ways to test features in isolation and in end-to-end scenarios. You will use your proven coding and debugging skills (C/C++/C#) to jump into new areas of the system to help ship the product. A Zune SDET must:
Have 3+ years of development experience in C or C++
Have 1+ years of experience testing consumer products
Be able to collaborate with Program Managers, Developers, Design, and Management
Coordinate automation development with other SDETs to improve productivity
Love the customer and think like a customer to build better testing
Have excellent problem solving skills and test mentality
Have experience planning, design, and scheduling testing
We value candidates who are quick learners and can adapt to rapid change. Additional desirable experience includes Windows CE, Lua, driver development or test, wired or wireless networking, codecs, media playback, and USB.
