Position:
We are in need to 2 Senior Firmware Engineers, experience in the 8-10 year range, specifically in c, firmware development. Firmware development for medical electronic and electromechanical instruments such as heart-assist devices, cardiac surgery support systems, patient monitors and telemedicine systems. Duties include system and software architecture design, software requirements specification, software design, coding, testing, integration, software verification and validation, and documentation. Opportunities exist to learn Object Oriented Design and Development,C++, C# .NET Architecture in the future.
Requirements
Embedded GUI and C programming experience required; software development lifecycle knowledge from concept through product release and maintenance needed as well as real-time embedded product development experience; experience with designing and implementing firmware modifications necessary. Ideal candidate will have experience with compilers, debuggers, and emulation tools. Medical device design experience valuable. Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers and configuration management a plus. Position requires BSEE or BSCS and at least 8-10 years of embedded software experience; MSEE or MSCS preferred
