John Deere Credit is looking for a Database Marketing Analyst I in our Marketing Services Area.
Starting salary: $55,000, - $60,000 commensurate with experience. Total compensation includes salary, bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
MAJOR PURPOSE:
Creates the queries, including selection, segmentation, targeting, and other stratifying criteria, to run against various databases. Develops database generated reports and provides analysis and informational support to management.
Develops, tests and runs queries against various databases that effectively and efficiently generate the desired results/reports.
Effectively translates client user requests for analysis/name lists/information into queries that produce accurate and reliable results.
Anticipates and analyzes market/industry conditions which could impact business plans.
Secures resources and learns how to use tools/software to deliver optimum data, information, market knowledge and analysis in support of the management decision making process.
Maintains database quality and accuracy. Ensures quality of vendor supplied data, and ensures regular updates are accurately integrated into the database.
Supports the user community (across divisions) with analysis, technical support and training.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, economics and trend forecasting.
Knowledge of information systems.
Working knowledge of database management tools, the various loan accounting systems, and process management systems.
Broad based business, sales and marketing skills.
Understanding of market segmentation and retail distribution systems.
Education
Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience.
Degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience.
Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience
Previous experience as a database administrator.
Marketing experience.
Gathering market data using research tools; applying statistical analysis principles/methodologies to make recommendations.
Internal or external industry specific experience in relevant discipline.
