LOCATION: Lusk
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Responsible and accountable for the overall management and operation of the Women's Center Commissary to include but not limted to receiving and selling a variety of merchandise for inmate purchase and consumption.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversees Commissary operation to include receiving merchandise, inventory tracking, supervision of inmate employees including documentation of progress, responsible for health and safety inspection of the area. Utilize accounting system for reports, inventories and sales. Will monitor and record retention schedules and enter fixed assest documents on WOLFS.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of computer program applications, data management and record
keeping; skill in keyboarding, use and basic maintenance of office equipment, oral and written communications and interpersonal relations; knowledge of inventory control and sales; knowledge of basic accounting, business principles, budgets and cost controls; ability to be a self -starter; ability to work well under pressure; ability to set goals and meet deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, statistics, finance, business or closely related field, OR four years of professional work experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, bookkeeping or fiscal work.
Candidates will be subject to background and reference investigation and shall be required to submit to urinalysis testing to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
