Conduct analysis required to determine rates and support pricing strategies. This includes, but is not limited to calculating financial metrics, conducting competitive assessments and analyzing financial trends.
Provide superior service, guidance and communication to retail sales force and support areas by serving as a contact concerning deposit rate exceptions and other rate-related matters. This requires fielding and returning phone calls to sales force and related support areas. Also requires facilitation of adjustments/exceptions with operational areas.
Administer and communicate rate changes in an accurate and timely manner. Document rate changes and other pricing treatments, as needed.
Utilize analytical models and other tools to conduct analyses and arrive at recommended revisions to strategy. This will require coordination with other analytical, operational and strategic groups to drive fact-based decisions. Also conduct other ad-hoc analysis as needed.
This position is also responsible for the analysis and implementation of pricing strategy for $66B of Retail interest-bearing deposits.
The Pricing Analyst will support other analysts and the Pricing Manager in developing, assessing and implementing pricing strategy for all retail deposit products. Incumbent must possess a strong analytical mind-set, ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and a solid understanding of profitability metrics and financial concepts.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelors degree or the equivalent in finance or related field is required. One to three years related business experience is also required. Must be proficient in Excel and have a solid understanding of profitability metrics. Candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
