If so then we have a great & fun opportunity for you as part of the highly dynamic and fast paced E&D retail marketing team.
As a Category Marketing Manager you will work closely with the Windows Live OneCare BG, Small Business Team (SMS&P), Information Worker and Windows BGs, the US BMO, and the E&D Sales team to drive the Window Live OneCare business, the Small Business strategy and our Retail partners. This includes the development of retail strategy in partnership with the internal MS stakeholders, building & executing marketing programs that support retail objectives, managing and optimizing partnerships in the retail channel, and maximizing responsibility margin for the MSFT small business software portfolio. You will also manage a product portfolio and be responsible for developing and managing sales forecasts, marketing plans and budgets to deliver top and bottom line sales revenue and unit targets.
This position requires someone who is highly results oriented, has strong cross group collaboration skills, and preferably has broad retail experience and insight. A marketing mind-set and a creative flair for innovative marketing programs and promotions are essential. The ideal candidate has retail or consumer products experience and a proven track record in working across sales and marketing teams.
Qualifications:
7-10 years relevant experience, prior retail experience a big plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration skills - ability to effectively influence others in multiple groups and collaborate to achieve specific goals
Proven marketing skills-track record in delivering marketing strategies and tactics to drive sales and awareness
Proven analytical experience with sales trend analysis, market share, and assortment development
BA required; MBA preferred
