Product Manager
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with software development, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met, and for washing out your own coffee mug at the end of the day, if you ever leave the office. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals [like making payroll next week...]
TheProduct Manager is expected to:
Maintain and execute product strategies and roadmaps.
Deliver requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.

Be a subject matter expert on each product - be the go-to person for marketing, sales, and customer support, or at least fake it pretty good.
Perform product demos to prospective customers, partners, and tradeshow attendees and pretend to blush when they "oohhhh" and "ahhhh" during your show.
Be an expert with respect to the competition [as if there's "competition"]

Required experience and knowledge:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products and/or projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree. [this is your "softball"]
Technical background, with experience in with software development.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. [but a stern glare usually does the trick...]
Must be able to travel 15% - 25% of the time
