Position Description
The selected candidate will assist in the evaluation and preparation of computing and information security risk assessments for the GMD Model and System Simulation Labs (MSSLs). Duties will include: Analyze and record security incidents and make recommendations; Participate with a team to provide consultation on routine security issues; Collect, preserve and document information to assist in investigations; Assist incident response teams; Investigate, analyze and resolve moderately complex security questions and problems; Assist in the development of training materials and processes; Perform required audits of computational assets; and review network technology projects for possible security impact. Requires working knowledge of Unix and Windows Operating Systems.
