John Deere Dubuque Works is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Testing to lead, plan, and develop verification plan for electrical components, sub-systems, and systems. In this position, you will:

Execute test and analysis plans for product verification and validation (PV&V).
Perform bench level and on-machine software verification.
Lead, develop, and drive improvements to the current hardware testing process.
Develop, mentor, and train other Electrical PV&V Engineers on the process and methods.
Provide problem solving of electrical issues on new product development and current production.
Lead and/or participate on (Product Delivery Process) teams as the Electrical PV&V representative, ensuring PV&V activities and plans are formulated and followed.
Engage in applying/leading PV&V tools in Product Delivery Process (PDP) teams.
Participate in print reviews and design reviews of new products.





Education

Four year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.



Required Skills and Experience

3+ years Electrical Engineering experience performing analysis, testing and/or design work.
Knowledge of environmental verification testing.
Knowledge of electrical wire harness circuits and routing.
Knowledge of electrical/electronic components such as batteries, starters, alternators, rocker switches, relays, solenoids, sensors, actuators, controllers, displays and connectors.
Ability to work with suppliers in the application of electrical components.
Understanding of serial communications.
