SALARY RANGE $39,536 - $56,049
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide support to cash management sales by performing customer installations and training of all cash management products such as online cash management, ACH originations, Viking Virtual Banker (remote deposit).
2. Provide support to cash management sales by performing all other duties such as analysis spreadsheet preparations, ACH files creation, customer onsite and offsite system troubleshooting.
3. Knowledgeable of the bank’s “backroom” cash management operations.
4. Assist in the training needs as related to cash management products/services.
5. Assure all banking compliance standards are met and attend required training.
6. Perform other duties as assigned including support for the other departments of the Sales & Service Team (Marketing, Sales & Service, Business Development, and IRA).
ENVIRONMENTAL / PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The Cash Management Specialist performs the major portion of his/her job outside the bank, marketing Viking Bank and meeting with customers by communicating verbally in person and over the telephone. He/she must be able to move freely around the facilities. He/she must possess the ability to accurately read and inspect for errors. He/she must be able to verbally communicate with clarity. This position must possess full use of both hands and have excellent close vision.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years’ banking experience, preferably in a community bank, demonstrating an excellent comprehension of cash management products and current banking regulations are required.
• Knowledge of Bank’s services required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills a plus.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Proven skills in organizing, working with details, and meeting deadlines is required.
• Self starter, ability to produce results is required.
• Marketing, customer service and business development skills required.
• Proficiency working with computers and computer generated information and financial data is essential.
• Demonstrated talent for teaching on the job.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
