Description :
Under the regular supervision of the dentist, the Dental Hygienist provides professional prophylaxis, periodontal screening, root planing/scaling and preventive services such as dental sealant and oral hygiene instruction to patients.
The Hygienist will be able to:
adjust their treatment based on their assessment and interpretation of the patient's status
demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care
demonstrate excellent customer service and a desire to meet the individual patient's needs
To qualify, you must have:
Completed an accredited dental hygiene program
One year experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred
NYS License as a Dental Hygienist and comply with 15 CME credits every three years
