Under the general supervision of the Director, Herkimer Regional Operations, this position is responsible for coordinating nursing process and daily operations in the Herkimer Health Center (HHC) Procedure Center. The Supervisor functions as a resource to all HHC clinical staff and is accountable for staff development, regulatory preparedness and direct supervision of clinical staff in the HHC Procedure Center. This individual will assist in the development of systems that maximize patient convenience, quality care and provider efficiency.
In addition, the Supervisor, Clinic Nursing Practice will assist in Departmental Quality Assurance activities. This individual will represent the clinical nursing staff on the HHC leadership team and work with other leaders to ensure seamless, patient-focused care for all HHC patients.
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field preferred
A diploma or Associate degree with significant ambulatory nursing practice experience may be substituted for the BSN
Minimum of 3 years of experience in ambulatory care nursing is required
Supervisory or management experience is preferred
Current NYS licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse required
