Position: HR - Coordinator - Benefits - Roanoke, VA

Job Description:

HR Coordinator will report to the Senior Business Partner and help in the administration of the benefits and payroll process. Location is in Roanoke, VA.



Responsibilities:

Coordinates benefits enrollment for new hires and annual enrollments
Coordinates and administers FMLA/PLOA/Worker’s Compensation process and help to provide updated status to Business Units
Provides assistance to employees that have benefits or payroll issues
Oversee and manage wellness events, work life and community service programs.
General clerical work, including maintenance of all confidential employee records
Compile Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports for Business Unit

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma, prefer a Bachelors Degree in HR or related field S/BA
Must have at least 2 years of benefits experience (FMLA, LOA, & ADA--a must)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) & HRIS
Preferred Requirements :

PHR/SPHR a plus
Previous PeopleSoft experience
