John Deere Dubuque Works is seeking a Supply Management Service Parts Specialist to support Forestry Cut to Length (CTL) parts distribution operation in Maersta, Sweden. In this position, you will:
Manage all power train service parts and service parts requirements filled from our Forestry Cut to Length (CTL) parts distribution operation in Maersta, Sweden..
Be responsible for change management process improvement activity associated with CTL design engineering in Tampere, Finland and facilitation of service parts availability worldwide.
Travel internationally on a limited basis (up to 15%) .
Education
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technology, Business/Management or Supply Management discipline highly preferred or equivalent education and experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Knowledge of supply management, product support, engineering systems, processes and practices.
Knowledge of heavy machinery.
Prior supply chain experience.
Knowledge of a customer support process, preferably the John Deere Customer Support Process.
Prior work experience with database programs (Business Objects, MS Access).
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated team work skills.
Effective time management and organization skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Ability to deal with conflicting goals in a pressure filled environment.
Self motivated; possess initiative to seek additional responsibility.
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.
Desired Skills and Experience
Engineering / technical experience with heavy equipment product knowledge.
User level understanding of SPEC, CWIS and CPS or aptitude to learn these systems with minimal training.
