Physical Therapy Assistant position encompasses the following:
Responsibilities:
Performs direct patient care tasks as assigned by physical therapists, in support of patient treatment
Abides by professional code of ethics and complies with Federal and State requirements for delivery of service
Requirements:
Associates degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program, or completion of the Physical Therapy Certification Examination
Experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant prior to employment is desired. New graduate considered.
New York State license or temporary permit
Ability to safely transfer and transport patients is required. Ability to operate some mechanical equipment is required.
