John Deere Agriculture Equipment in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Publications Coordinator to research, extract, compile, and analyze data; develop periodic reports and process ad hoc reporting requests; assist in documenting and training of related procedures; create, maintain, and update databases; and research and resolve issues associated with information in the database. In this position, you will:
Coordinate the distribution of pricing communication materials to Company personnel, John Deere Dealers and general public via web-based Product Configurator and Dealer Pathways.
Prepare, edit, and update price pages for complete agricultural product line publications and bulletins based upon material received from analysts, making alterations where necessary to maintain consistency across all models and product lines.
Load and maintain confidential price information in the price book database; verify the accuracy of data transferred from database to host system, [Integrated Configurator Suite (ICS) feeds prices to COMAR (and thus accounting), the web, and the Configurator programs].
Interpret reports and output of web-based applications of the price book data to determine accuracy of information for publication.
Coordinate systems-related issues for the department by acting as liaison with external systems group that supports the price book publishing system, price inquiry screens, and pricing database.
Coordinate transfer of agricultural product price list publication to the Commercial & Consumer Equipment (C&CE) Division and Pricing Department in Canada on specific products.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor degree in a Business discipline or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Comfortable navigating through various computer systems.
Experience in Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, etc.
Understanding of database administration.
High level of analytical skills.
High level of attention to detail.
High level of accuracy when working within a database.
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge of data base systems used at John Deere, specifically ICS, COMAR, and the web Configurator programs.
Background in Information Technology or business related experience.
