Position Description
This position is the lead for providing Boeing support to the warfighter's Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Operations Schedule (BOS)/Weekly Activity Message (WAM) process as part of the Boeing Ground Based Midcourse Defense Weapons System and Operations Sustainment (WSOPS) team. This position is also the Team Lead for a small operations support staff in Huntsville and the representative for the Systems Operations Integration Group and responsible for interfacing with and supporting Boeing senior management within WSOPS. This position integrates, maintains and analyzes plans and schedules supporting requirements of the BOS/WAM process. The position interfaces directly with Government agencies and applies policies, procedures and guidelines across the integrated Government scheduling process to ensure Boeing schedule inputs are de-conflicted and vertically and horizontally integrated. In this area, responsibilities include maintaining the processes for review of Boeing's BMDS Operations Schedules (BOS), monitoring Event Objective Worksheets (EOW) for completeness, accuracy and technical detail ond integrating Boeing's schedule inputs with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Integrated BMDS schedule. Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with customers and others in the scheduling process, especially related to schedule integration and communicating schedule status and recommendations is essential. Others duties include researching and analyzing schedule information, recognizing potential problems and risks, formulating solutions, and making recommendations to management for problem resolution. Interaction with senior internal and external personnel on significant operational issues often requiring coordination between Boeing organizations is required. Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are essential. Ability to professionally relate with Government customers. Demonstrated verbal and written skills at a level resulting in customer confidence in accuracy of scheduling data.

Education and/or Experience
