John Deere Power Systems is seeking a Storage Expediter to in-report material and coordinate delivery of parts to point of use to meet production needs. In this position, you will:
Ship various materials, ESOs, Service Parts, and Flash Orders.
Support Service Store department by coordinating material flow to insure goals are met.
Manage consignment cage inventory.
Document and file claims for damaged loads.
Cross-train on Engine Shipping Coordinator, ESO handling and EDI coordinator roles.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technology, Business/Management or Supply Management discipline highly preferred or equivalent education and experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work with all levels of personnel.
Strong multi-task skills and able to shift priorities.
Understanding of supply line management.
Desired Skills and Experience
Work experience in an inventory management role.
Understanding of factory operations.
SAP experience, warehouse management [MM] module highly preferred.
