Description :
The Upper Middle Market ("UMM") division is responsible for originating, maintaining, and growing Corporate Banking relationships for companies with $50 million in sales and above. Credit needs of clients typically range from $50 million to $500 million and can take the form of single bank, multi-bank, or syndicated transactions.
The UMM Associate Bankers are responsible for working with Relationship Managers on projection/sensitivity modeling, loan structuring, underwriting and due diligence, loan closings, identifying cross sell opportunities, and capital structure/strategic discussion presentations for clients and prospects while actively supporting and monitoring existing loans. In CRE, works with the CREE's and CREA's to coordinate the closing process and faciliate appropriate construction monitoring.
The Associate Banker II will most often own a book of their own accounts while continuing to work with other RM's. They will do some prospecting to those accounts and will be responsible for growing the revenue of that portfolio. This will involve more face time with the client as well as more judgment as the client advisor. They will require less coaching and direction by management/Relationship Managers, allowing them to develop their skills quicker into a Relationship Manager role.
