Explanation Statement
John Deere Agricultural Equipment, in Waterloo, Iowa, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the responsibility of reviewing / adjusting inventory reports at Ryder logistics for the Waterloo units. In this position, you will:
Authorize the return goods from dealers and sales branches for global applications.
Authorize debits and credits to Lenexa on a timely basis.
Investigate prices, shipping charges and restocking fees (this will be audited on a monthly basis to be SOX compliant).
Document customer, dealer, and/or company personnel interactions and issues relating to production and non-current service parts.
Communicate with customers, dealers and company personnel to provide the proper policy execution and adequate resolution.
Qualifications
Education
Degree in Supply Management or relevant work experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Materials management experience.
Understanding of the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP).
Working knowledge of logistics processes and applicable governmental regulations.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Computer systems knowledge (ideally including the systems used at John Deere, such as SAP and Legacy).
Strong interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Work experience in a team environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge of unit processes and operations.
