Overview :
The primary focus of the PC Specialist is to support the client side hardware/software for Medicis/Liposonix Bothel Wa. office. This includes, but is not limited to, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting hardware and operating software. This position responds to help desk(footprints) requests for assistance with the organization's computer systems or PC's. The position will also effectively satisfy client hardware/software configuration needs for any project pertaining to the Information Technology group.
Responsibilities :
* Utilize documented procedures and processes to provide consistently efficient hardware support
* Respond to work requests that are received via help desk tracking system
* Asset tracking of all IT related equipment
* Maintain client builds across all necessary platforms utilizing Ghost and LANDesk
* Monitor equipment inventory levels and replenish when needed
* Provide hardware based troubleshooting and support (e.g. PC rebuilds/network printers/PDA's) to local/remote users and develop appropriate solutions
* Research technical problems. (i.e. MS TechNet) and consult with appropriate technical or service personnel for follow-up
* Create and maintain business process documentation related IT operations and support
* Complete quality review of new PC's and laptops
* Respond to requests for specific computer equipment; research the best options and make recommendations
* Setup New Hire's in the Bothel office in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications :
Associate's Degree
1-2 years experience
