Do you love TV? Do you want to play a huge role ushering in the next revolution in television??
The Connected TV Technology team is building software and services to create a richer and more meaningful experience for advertisers, content producers, distributors, and consumers. We're a small, entrepreneurial team working together to get things done very quickly in an agile environment. We have an unusually good time and we're looking for kindred spirits to bring, not only their talent, but also their entire personality to the table. Specifically, we need an experienced SERVICES test lead to manage a feature test team for a highly-scalable, highly-available video service platform.
As an extremely technical SDET Lead with excellent managerial skills, you will be both a lead and an individual contributor. Lead responsibilities include:
Work closely with developers, operations and partners to define requirements and exit criteria of our product
Mentor, grow and guide team SDETs providing technical expertise and raising the quality of all team members
Drive engineering initiatives to increase the efficiency and efficacy of the test team
Be accountable for the overall success of the feature areas your team owns
Contributor responsibilities include:
Provide deep input into our server architecture and design
Help clarify how features should work to eliminate ambiguous requirements
Develop test methods/tools/experiments
Review peers' test plans and implementation and work to improve our processes
Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of product development experience, including testing and shipping scalable and reliable platforms and services. Strong experience working with server technologies (C#, SQL, IIS, web services) is required. Good communication skills, independent drive, customer focus, ability to ramp up quickly on new technology, and driving for results are all expected. No knowledge of TV technologies is necessary, but a passion for television is a must.
