Our team works directly with our top OEM and Mobile Operator partners to bring the latest Smartphone and Pocket PC devices and experiences to market. The Smartphone market is fast paced and the product life cycle is short, so we work on 3-6 month release cycles to deliver the features and functionality Motorola, Samsung, HP, Dell, HTC, Sony and others need to build world class phones. We are scaling our team to commercialize with additional partners and have an excellent opportunity for a strong SDET lead to drive and ensure the quality of our releases that will contribute to our goal of 21 million devices shipping in FY 2008.
Your first challenge will be to hire and staff your team. You will be responsible for driving all aspects of your project(s) working with your direct reports, dev and PM counterparts, customers, and vendor and outsource resources to enable features for new Windows Mobile devices and user experiences. Your SDET's will be responsible for delivering all test collateral for features including test plans, automation, directing external resources, and tool support. Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong problem solving skills, sound automated testing ability, good communication skills, a minimum 2 years experience in C, C++, or C#, and a minimum of 2 years experience as a test lead shipping Microsoft products. A BA/BS degree in a CS or related discipline is preferred. Experience with Windows CE and cellular phone systems are a plus
