The eHome Devices Group is seeking highly-skilled user experience developers with a passion for home media entertainment scenarios to provide "best in class" user interfaces across our line of embedded devices. Our current product, Media Center Extender, is bundled into a wide variety of devices; TV's, DVD players, Digital Media Receivers, and the XBOX 360. Come join our team and demonstrate your user experience expertise by making these devices become known for their rich, compelling, and functional user interfaces.
Responsibilities will include:
* Design and implement the rendering engine and user experience framework to be used across our devices
* Participate in the design and development of our user experience
* Collaborate with partner teams such as Media Center, XBOX, and Zune to ensure alignment on our user experience framework strategy
Requirements for this position:
* 5+ years development experience in C/C++, encompassing at least one full Microsoft product cycle
* Key user experience contributor on one or more shipping products
* Strong technical background with a passion for digital entertainment scenarios
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Strong customer empathy
* Experience with D3D, D3D Mobile, OpenGL, OpenGL ES, XUI, MCML, Avalon, or Silverlight is a plus
Solid review history is required of internal candidates. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical experience is required.
