E&D Manufacturing & Supply Chain PMO is looking for a highly skilled vendor account manager (VAM). This person will manage the performance of our vendors as well as negotiate agreements with them. Experience in a supply chain industry is preferred.

Core Job Responsibilities:
Vendor Service Management Duties
Work with managers to define service requirements for SOW creation
Use business intelligence and analytics to assist with vendor selection
Manage vendor's performance to ensure full compliance with the contract and requirements documents.
Analyze metrics and provide regular status reports
Identify and champion the implementation of improvement/optimization opportunities
Develop and deploy aggressive vendor measures that include relevant business metrics, KPI reporting and analysis, scorecards, and formal business reviews
Maintain relationships with internal teams to maintain familiarity with business initiatives.
Track vendor spend and identify areas to gain efficiencies and reduce costs
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in managing vendor contracts and negotiations
3+ years experience managing staffing and services based models in operational support environments
2+ years experience in process re-engineering
2+ years experience in the supply chain industry
Experience and proven ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form
Experience working in large scale, high availability, environments developing and improving operational processes
Experience and proven ability to work across teams in a fast paced environment
Advanced process management and business system development skills
Advanced risk assessment, contingency planning skills
BA/BS Degree
Intermediate financial evaluation skills
10% travel (domestic and internationally)
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience and training in a production environment, analyzing business processes, and developing requirements to support business processes.
Experience working in fast paced operations organizations
Experience with Process Methodologies - Six Sigma Black Belt, ITIL, PMI
Knowledgeable in network infrastructure systems including LAN/WAN architectures and protocols
MBA
