Our team works directly with our top OEM and Mobile Operator partners to bring the latest Smartphone and Pocket PC connected devices and experiences to market. The Smartphone market is fast paced and the product life cycle is short so we work on 3-6 month release cycles to deliver the features and experiences Motorola, Samsung, HP, Dell, HTC, Sony and others require to deliver world class phones. We are scaling our team to commercialize with additional partners and showcase the best Microsoft solutions and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced SDET to drive and ensure the quality of our releases and experiences that will contribute to our goal of 30 million devices shipping in FY 2009.
You will be responsible for driving all test aspects of your project(s) working with your developer and PM counterparts, customers, and vendor and outsource resources to enable new user experiences for current Windows Mobile devices and next generation mobile devices. You will be responsible for delivering all test collateral for features including test plans, automation, directing external vendor and internal CSG resources, and tool support. We are customer driven. As a result you'll get exposure to multiple areas of our product and develop a broad level of experience within our code base. Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong problem solving skills, sound automated testing ability, good communication skills, strong object oriented programming skills in C++, C#, or related programming language. A BA/BS degree in a CS or related discipline is preferred. Experience with Windows CE and cellular phone systems are a plus.
